Colleen D’ Agostino ft. deadmau5 – Stay
Nothing like a little deadmau5 to brighten up your Friday, right? As you may know, the mau5 teamed up with vocalist Colleen D’ Agostino for “Seeya“, which turned out to be one of the most interesting tracks off his album While 1<2. Since then, we were given the 5 Years of Mau5 album, but we haven’t heard a new original production from Joel until now. Now that Colleen D’ Agostino has an upcoming debut EP on Mau5trap Records, none other than deadmau5 has decided to take on production responsibilities for her new single. After Colleen’s recent acoustic cover of “Seeya“, she is now ready to debut “Stay”.
The song starts off with the sultry vocals of Colleen with a relaxing piano melody. Then, the track becomes a true return to progressive house for deadmau5, as it will remind listeners of his “Strobe” era. It’s also worth noting that this song may sound similar to some fans out there, as it’s a 2015 version of “Drop The Poptart”.
