Flume and Chet Faker Nominated For ‘Dance Work Of The Year’ Award

Flume
Flume and fellow Aussie Chet Faker have been nominated for ‘Dance Work of the Year’ at the 2015 APRA (Australian Performing Right Association) Music Awards. Their collaboration, “Drop The Game”, was first released in 2012, but is being nominated this year by the Australian agency and is said to be the leading candidate for the distinguished national honor.

The ceremony, which originated in 1982, has annually honored the best Australian tracks and songwriters including AC/DC’s classic “Highway To Hell”, which won the gold award in the very first APRA ceremony. That being said, it looks like the soulful collaboration will be in historic company if it wins the gold award. Flume and Chet Faker are two of the biggest names in Australian music and this award will only add to their legacies. The awards are set to take place Tuesday March, 24 and you can check out the full list of nominees here.
