Live-brass-infused Electronic duo Willdabeast (Will Glazier and Dan de Lisle) continue to contribute to the Hybrid Bass music scene in the U.S., offering a fresh, genre-bending perspective. Their signature, distinctive note incorporates their iconic horns and flute into their tracks across a wide range of Dance genres. In fact, this is not the first time we’ve shared a release of theirs.
Garlic Party
Garlic Party, a purveyor of fine, funkified beats, has been reviving Ghetto Funk with his new spins on the old school genre throughout Western Australia and beyond. Also known as Timmy Howe, he’s become an important figure in the Great Southern Land music industry, and he has contributed significantly to regional events like Rain Dance Festival.
‘Killa’
Both mastermind acts Garlic Party and Willdabeast have recently joined forces to produce a belter of a song. ‘Killa’ is a standout track that combines elements of Funk, Bass, and even Techno. The song’s catchy melody and infectious beat make it a dancefloor-deserving tune, something you’d play at a peak energy section of your set. The collaboration brings the artists alongside MC Brotha Nature’s powerful vocals, for the icing on the cake.
Enjoy the synergy of all elements coming together in an ideal combination. First a Mid-tempo track, it quickly evolves to something that’s straight out of your favourite Skate franchise soundtrack, but all at once.
