It is extremely rare to find an artist who is able to jump from genre to genre with infectious releases like the DJ-producer hybrid known as NITTI. With a Latin Grammy under his belt and two iconic collaborative side projects, NITTI has become a household name in the world of music. Now, this gifted innovator is showcasing his versatility once again with his new Drum & Bass single, ‘Lookin 4 Me’, dropping via Tiësto’s label Musical Freedom Records, on Friday, November 24th.
‘Lookin 4 Me’ kicks off with a retro-sounding synth, perfectly blending with the lyrics of talented singer-songwriter, Hadar Adora. The energy continues to build until Hadar delivers the stand-alone line, “You should be looking 4 me”, immediately followed by a grimy instrumental sequence that fuses bassline and Dubstep.
Never failing to catch his audience off-guard, NITTI seamlessly transitions into an electrifying progression of DnB. Throughout ‘Lookin 4 Me’, he expertly weaves in riveting effects and an abundance of bass, creating a fast-paced sonic ride powered by Hadar’s vocals.
Stemming from the brilliant mind of LA-based Ricky Mears, NITTI’s vast credentials include a Grammy nomination for ‘On My Mind‘ co-producing Latin Grammy award-winning ‘200 MPH‘ by Bad Bunny & Diplo, and collaborations with luminaries such as Diplo, Bad Bunny, and Diesel (Shaq). His discography spans across labels like OWSLA, Spinnin’, Musical Freedom, and Insomniac Records.
Obviously, with ‘Lookin 4 Me’, NITTI continues to heat up, keeping pace next to his Tech-House-centric SIDEPIECE project with Party Favor, and the early 2000s rave culture-inspired SAYMYNITTI with SAYMYNAME. This exhilarating anthem promises more jaw-dropping releases and performances from NITTI in the near future.
