The Queen of Acid Techno is back with a new release. This time, she’s joined by Astrix and Amazingblaze, who delivered two new remixes of her Summer beast ‘High Street‘.
Both versions of ‘High Street’ take a unique approach to the already popular original. Although the squelching hard tempo remains the same, Astrix flips the song into a versatile Psytrance, adding even more rebounding acid, extra strong vocals, and a build-up that makes you lose your mind. Astrix’s style complements the Hip-Hop vibe of the song extremely well. De Witte honored this in one of her recent Instagram posts. “It’s really cool to see what happens when two worlds collide and to see how much it all actually makes sense”, said de Witte.
“I would like to show endless gratitude to Astrix for taking the time to make such a massive remix and for building a bridge between two worlds.”

The KNTXT’s newcomer Amazingblaze adds his own flare to the pack. His ‘High Street’ version is on a different spectrum of Trance. The bass remains consistent through a melodic journey. The sonic textures are accompanied by the original vocals, and everything meshes into a wonderful track. As a big fan of the original High Street EP it’s so exciting to hear different perspectives on a song that I thought was a greatly finished project. Both remixes are long enough to take you on a Techno and Trance journey, allowing for synergy between the genres.
As we speak, Charlotte de Witte is touring the U.S., with an exciting open-to-close set at the Shrine Expo Hall in L.A. coming up on September 29th. While we wait for her date on the City of Angels, check out both remixes via the Spotify button linked below.
