Detroit Movement Music Festival is gearing up. They just dropped a sneak peek at their stacked lineup including Belgian Techno star Charlotte de Witte and legendary British electronic music duo Underworld. Taking place Memorial Day Weekend (May 27-29, 2023) inside Hart Plaza at downtown Detroit’s riverfront, the festival will have the best Techno and House names in attendance.
Since its inception, Movement has been deeply dedicated to bringing a completely original experience to Detroit, with a focus on showcasing authentic and diverse lineups that provide an experience that is purely about music and culture. Notable first-time performers include DJ Seinfeld, TSHA, Ela Minus, Giorgia Angiuli, LSDXOXO, and SPFDJ.
Detroit favorite Moodymann will return for his first performance at the festival in 10 years. Acclaimed Canadian electronic music producer and writer Caribou and New York House music icons Louie Vega and Kenny Dope as Masters At Work will be there. Detroit Techno pioneers Robert Hood (live) and Carl Craig, Chicago House luminary Green Velvet, and Detroit’s ‘first lady of wax’ DJ Minx will join the party. And let’s not leave out a huge house-heavy B2B performance between Dom Dolla and John Summit.
