It’s sad to say that the season finale for the Brooklyn Mirage is finally upon us, after a whole slew of packed events throughout the summer. That’s why this weekend is not one to miss as you know the venue is pulling out all the stops to celebrate the finale. South African DJ Black Coffee will be performing for 3 B2B shows and we cannot be more excited.
The last time Black Coffee performed at BK Mirage was last summer where he sold out 2 nights. This week, Mirage’s last hurrah will last 3 days from 10/14-10/16. Each night will be special and that it will be an unique theme with a thought out lineup with a headlining performance from Black Coffee. The star studded producer has just wrapped up his 20 week Hi Ibiza residency and now ready to put on an unforgettable performance for Brooklyn Mirage’s trilogy closing event. This has been a huge year for Black Coffee as he won the GRAMMY for “Best Dance/Electronic Album” for his 7th studio album, Subconsciously.
In addition to performances from Black Coffee and the rest of the talent on the lineup, BC has tapped Amy Andrieux of The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Art (MoCADA) to curate a special pop-up exhibition inspired by Black Coffee’s 2021 album of the same name (“SUBCONSCIOUSLY”). Throughout the weekend, attendees will be able to experience the art on display over in the Kings Hall. The exhibit will feature the works of 6 artists across the African diaspora: Nene Mahlangu, Nicolas Premier, Daniela Yohannes, Maxwell DeWunmi, Alexis Chivir-Ter Tsegba, and Maxime Manga The weekend is shaping out to be a celebration of art, culture, diversity, and groovy house beats under the wing of the South American visionary.
GA Tickets are still available here for Sunday’s show, whereas the wait list is still available for the Friday Sunday shows. VIP tickets are still available for each night.
