After months of rumors circulating through the EDM scene about Skrillex and Diplo collaborating on a new Dance Music super group, the duo finally put them to rest with their first official appearance. On September 15th in San Diego, the last stop of Diplo’s extremely popular Mad Decent Block Party Tour, Diplo and Sonny Moore took to the stage as Jack U. Luckily for us who could not attend the event, a few of the festival attendants recorded parts of the set that featured brand new music by the newly established tandem. The quality isn’t studio caliber, obviously, but from the sound of it, Jack U’s 5 to 6 IDs were mainly Trap, Electro or Moombahton. One even featured vocals by the increasingly popular Aluna George. With such giants of industry at the helm, you can definitely expect Jack U to create quite a splash once they get some of these bangers released. Check out clips of their performance below!
