The Metarama Gaming + Music Festival set for October 19 – 20 is officially canceled. The inaugural festival featuring Marshmello and Ninja announced the news on its website.
The official statement from Metarama claims that “despite incredible support and feedback” the event has been canceled. However, there will be refunds.
People can expect their tickets refunded on or before September 6th. Fans who intended on going to Metarama and bought tickets can look for “FGT*METARANA” on their bank statement for the refund.
There has yet to be a release of specific information alluding to why the festival is no longer taking place. Since the cancellation, Metarama has deleted all of the festival’s social media accounts.
In addition to Marshmello, other artists scheduled to play at the event in Las Vegas included Alan Walker, Snoop Dogg, DJ Diesel and more. Alan Walker dealt with another cancellation earlier this week.
