After the rumor mill drip-dripped with details concerning Ultra Europe leaving its long-time home behind, we are finally getting official confirmation from the festival.
Ultra Europe frames the move as an evolution of the festival and a better way to accommodate its growing attendance list. Ultra Europe will move from Poljud Stadium to the adjacent Mladeži Park, less than a kilometer away. This is part of a deal which will see the festival stay there until at least 2022.
Ultra Europe is hailing the move as a positive, pointing out the new venue has 15,000 square meters of additional space and is closer to hotels and transport. Best of all, Ultra Europe says the expanded space will allow for a bigger mainstage than ever before. You can read the full announcement below.
