The Knocks feat. Method Man – Goodbyes (Yung Bae Remix)
The NY based duo, The Knocks, comprised of Ben “Broc” Ruttner and James “JPatt” Patterson are on a roll lately and they don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Fans were more than pleased The Knocks released their anticipated album, New York Narcotic, on Big Beats Records late last month. With a whopping 14 song tracklist and featured artists including Method Man, Foster the People, and Big Boi, there was no question that we would be treated to some fire remixes in the near future. As if Friday’s aren’t good enough already, Yung Bae has just blessed us with a lift on The Knocks’ song ‘Goodbyes’ featuring Method Man.
Yung Bae gives the track a funkier flair with its disco enhanced beats heard throughout the song. Method Man’s soulful vocals are left alone and still serve as the centerpiece of the track. During the breaks, some sultry and groovy saxophone playing added flavor to this gem of a tune. This remix truly showcases Yung Bae’s talent as he implements his own sounds into ‘Goodbyes’ all while maintaining the core elements of the original. Take a listen to the track below.
