Believe it or not, we’re living in a world where new Skrillex music is hard to find. Gone are the days when he was constantly releasing new music. In years past this was unheard of, as Sonny constantly had a steady stream of music being released under different aliases – but nowadays, it’s much more rare, and even more exciting.
With summer finishing up as we head into fall, there’s not much left to look forward to this year – festival season is at an end, the warm weather is disappearing and we’re onto the nexr year. However, there’s one thing coming: wee are on the verge of new music from Skrillex.
DJ Snake recently took the stage at the Veldt Festival in Toronto, Canada. While he smashed the stage as always, he also had a surprise or two for us in his set. This surprise came in the form of a Joyryde & Skrillex collab he managed to get his hands on – which gave Skrillex fans around the world hope that more music is coming soon.
With a brand new studio and multiple clips of the OWSLA honcho dropping new tunes online, this makes it hard to believe new music isn’t coming from Skrillex. Plus, there was the foreshadowing from his audio engineer too.
