At EDC Vegas, Excision dropped the highly anticipated collaboration with Illenium in its entirety. Believed to be named ‘Gold’, the haunting vocals led into a heavy drop accentuated with fireworks
Teased at the end of March by Illenium on Twitter, with a sneak preview from Excision at the end of April, it is a strong track with the perfect combination of Illenium’s melodies and dubstep drops from Excision.
Both artists were at EDC this year, Excision dropping a set on Friday night and Illenium taking a Saturday slot. Excision also played an anticpated ‘detox’ set, where he can “push creative boundaries” at the bassPod.
First a trap dubstep banger with Kill the Noise and Mako from Illenium this year, 2018 is shaping up to be a good year for melodic dubstep.
