On “Smoke That,” the Detroit born producer and saxophonist teamed up with fellow Detroit born singer Jaye Prime, and enlisted “My Friends and I” vocalist ProbCause to bring you a far more downtempo tune than their last collaboration. As GRiZ himself states in the Soundcloud description, “Made the ultimate weed smoking song w my man ProbCause. We wrote it on 420 so u know it’s official 😁 Roll up and smoke that…” So go ahead and do what the man says, throw this on and let Jaye Prime’s voice soothe your soul, while ProbCause brings the vibes on top of Grant’s production complete with a signature saxophone solo.
Already having a huge year, GRiZ has gone down the chill route on his last two Soundcloud releases, “Smoke That” and “Feel Like Makin’ Love.” With his live band debut at Red Rocks coming up this weekend and the knowledge that his “Chasing the Golden Hour Pt.
