DJ Mag, known for its controversial ‘Top 100 DJs’ poll, is holding a new competition for its North American readers. For those of you who love complaining about the publication’s main poll, here is your chance to make your voice heard.
It is broken down into categories and the actual voting is held on Facebook. There are only five selections available for ‘Best DJ‘ and they all fall under the tech-house/techno genres. Fans will have to choose between Maceo Plex, Green Velvet, Heidi, The Martinez Brothers and The Black Madonna. Other categories are things like ‘Best Live Act’, ‘Best Venue’, ‘Best Label’, ‘Best Compilation’, ‘Best Album’ and many more.
