Steve James – Renaissance Feat. Clairity (Paxel Remix)
Three months ago Steve James took the internet by storm with his debut original release. Which when you think about it, this young producer from a small town just outside of Pittsburgh…took the globe by storm. Amassing over 1.5 million plays on Soundcloud, and going officially viral on Spotify’s US and Global charts and toppled the 5,000,000 stream hurdle within 3 months. It’s been a whirlwind debut release indeed, but it’s about to get crazy again because the official remix package is on the way…and to help kick that off we’re happy to premiere the freshest remix of the lot, coming to you by none other than another young man from Bordeaux, France: Paxel.
Paxel has made a notable name for himself in the mere year he’s been around, winning a Warner Music Group competition for Nico & Vinz’s “That’s How You Know,” and receiving strong support from familiar faces in Robin Schulz, Sam Feldt, and Matoma. Similar to Steve, Pax’ has a knack for pulling the feel-good vibes out of anything; be it originals like “Nobody” or remixes for the likes of Major Lazer or the Notorious B.I.G, he’s a mastermind when it comes to fun n’ funky deep tunes with a summery vibe. His “Renaissance” remix is a fresh take on the soaring original, with a tasteful mix of future bass punch, trop house details, and pop addictiveness. Peep the remix below, and be on the lookout for more remixes from the package to release this week.
