Entering its seventh year, React Presents is taking its annual Halloween show to the next level. The spooky-themed event, known as Freaky Deaky, is now expanding into a three-day festival and moving to the roomier Toyota Park, about 12 miles away from downtown Chicago. The festival will take place from October 30 to November 1, and welcome more than 75 artists on three distinctive and freaky-inspired stages.
As one of the largest Halloween events in the country, 75,000 Freaky Deaky attendants will see an eclectic roster of headliners including Bassnectar, Armin Van Buuren, Pretty lights, Big Gigantic and Carnage. Aside from the festival’s electronic presence, rappers 2 Chainz, Mac Miller, Riff Raff, Logic and others will round out a talented hip-hop pool. To celebrate the wide spectrum of genres present, Freaky Deaky will design three unique themed stages hosted by artists Markus Schulz, Gessaffelstein, and Richie Hawtin. Topped off with decor, carnival rides, games, and frightening haunted houses, this festival is a can’t miss on Halloween weekend.
