John Summit, venbee – Palm Of My Hands (Odd Mob Remix)

Dance music sensation John Summit, UK vocalist venbee, and versatile DJ/producer Odd Mob have just released the official remix of ‘palm of my hands,’ available now via Darkroom/Experts Only. Experts Only is Summit’s music label and events brand, designed to promote the next generation of house, tech-house, and techno talent.

‘palm of my hands,’ a standout from Summit’s debut album Comfort in Chaos, is a beautiful drum and bass daydream featuring mellow vocals from venbee, set against a backdrop of lo-fi electronic synths. Odd Mob’s remix represents a significant shift from the original track’s relaxed vibe, increasing the tempo and leading to an epic beat drop, making it a perfect addition for dance floors and raves everywhere. Having performed the remix at his Hollywood Palladium headline show and during festival sets at Escape Halloween and Boo Seattle, the track has rapidly gained popularity while paying homage to its original form yet evolving musically.

On the track, Odd Mob shares: “It was an honour to remix this track. I was a bit unsure with how it would turn out flipping a DnB track into a house tune but the slowed vocals ended up providing a really cool feel to the track’

John Summit has had an incredible year, headlining shows at places like Madison Square Garden (which sold out just two hours after tickets went on sale!), Coachella (where he closed out the Sahara Tent and had an unforgettable performance with Dom Dolla), and EDC. He’s had solo sets as well as a closing performance with Green Velvet. Plus, he sold out two shows at Cow Palace in San Francisco and just added a third sold-out show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles this November!

With Comfort in Chaos making waves and debuting at #2 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and #39 on the Billboard 200, John is clearly on fire! He’ll keep touring the world and bringing his infectious energy to fans with tracks like his collaborations with HAYLA, including ‘Shiver,’ and the RIAA-gold certified hit ‘Where You Are.’ Don’t miss out on the fun!
