The release arrives during a landmark year, with Excision’s flagship festival Lost Lands achieving unprecedented success by selling out in record time. Additionally, with 50 show dates, the Nexus Tour was Excision’s largest in five years, featuring a new visual show that shocked crowds across North America and in viral videos all over the internet.

‘DABADABADABADABA’

Fun, dynamic, and filled with surprise lurking ’round every corner, Excision and Dion Timmer’s ‘DABADABADABADABA’ portrays a rollercoaster ride at any festival it’s played. If we’re talking about genres, for instance, this song cannot be boxed at all, for it displays notes of Trap, House, and Techno, all while staying true to Excision’s signature Bass sound.

Regarding the release, Excision says, “It has been a blast playing DABADABADABADABA out on tour and festivals this past year. This track always gets a huge crowd reaction! It’s fun making stuff with a different vibe to it while still being hype and energetic“. Dion Timmer also recalls, “[The track] was originally created as the intro for our B2Bs. We wanted to put something down that really makes the crowd go ‘woahhhh’ when it drops live, and I think we hit the right note with this one“.
