The Story Behind Sultan + Shepard

The duo, consisting of Ossama Al Sarraf and Ned Shepard, first crossed paths at an after-hours club in Montreal back in 2002. Their chemistry was immediate, leading to early releases on Bedrock and collaborations with some of EDM’s biggest names. Over the years, they’ve remixed tracks for major Pop artists and earned a Grammy nomination for their remix of ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ by Bruno Mars. They’ve also received two Juno Award nominations for Best Dance Recording.

Back to Their Roots

In recent years, Sultan + Shepard have made a clear return to their Progressive roots. Signing with This Never Happened, Lane 8‘s label, they’ve launched Dialekt Radio and released new music that emphasizes introspective and emotive soundscapes.
