We’ve been waiting on this one piece of blissful Trance for months. It’s finally ours.
Ben Hemsley. This man took the Trance scene by storm — and for all the good reasons. Undoubtedly, his big break in the scene came with the release of ‘Erase Me’, a celestial Balearic Trance tune that once you listen to it, you cannot stop hitting the ‘Repeat’ button. Fast-forward a few years and Hemsley has become one of the younger figures in who we trust to restore Trance to its former glory.
Initially a House aficionado, sometime in the past three years he went all-in on Trance. And not any kind of Trance: Classic Trance. Author of the aforementioned anthem, and other belters such as ‘IBIZA’ and ‘Closer’, label head of Bebé Recordings, and Armin’s chosen one to co-create the A State Of Trance 2025 anthem, Ben is reaching astronomical heights. And we couldn’t be more excited.

Inspired by the golden era of Trance, Ben Hemsley’s ‘Tidal’ featuring the vocals of Rose Gray is one of the year’s most anticipated releases, by a mile. The 10.5-minute-long track blends Classic Trance hallmarks with innovative soundscapes, all while Rose Gray’s ethereal voice adds an emotional layer to the narrative of a turbulent on-and-off relationship.
If you told me this was a lost piece from 2001 and it’s been restored and released, I would 100% believe you. The vibe is so old-school in all the best ways possible. It’s glorious, and it has a soul. At last, a song that has a soul, and a true soul. Close your eyes, take a sixth of an hour off your duties, and let this beautiful composition fly you away.
