America, get ready for the largest ASOT expansion so far.
Yes, you read that right. Yesterday, Armin van Buuren‘s legendary radioshow A State Of Trance celebrated ADE their own way — with a ten-hour episode. The Armada guys invited an incredible roster which included acts such as Ferry Corsten, SUPERSTRINGS, Miss Monique, Maddix, and more. Between the sets, they accidentally leaked the news.
Armin had Pasquale Rotella — Insomniac CEO — over to have a chat, mostly because Insomniac and ASOT sealed a partnership for the former to take over production for next year’s ASOT Rotterdam weekender festival. But in the middle of the conversation, the news timidly arose: ASOT’s next stop appears to be the US. Don’t forget that ASOT does come to Miami each March for Ultra Music Festival, but the scale of the event has shrunk over the years. Now ASOT wants to do a full-on arena level show in the US again.
During the airing, Armin told Pasquale “This is off the record, but my dream is to do what we do in the Netherlands but in your home country, so I think we should do that. The future is bright for A State of Trance and this is gonna be such an epic moment when we work together for the first time in February“. To what then Rotella mumbled the magic words, “What better place to leak it — you kinda just leaked it — I couldn’t be more excited about (…), in the States, there needs to be an epic, massive, perfectly produced ASOT“.
