Essentials for the Ultimate Splash House Experience

Stay Cool and Protected: Palm Springs in August means intense heat. Protect your skin with high-SPF sunscreen, reapplying throughout the day. Staying hydrated is crucial, so bring a refillable water bottle to keep yourself refreshed at water stations.

Pool Party Gear: Stylish yet comfortable swimwear is essential for a pool party festival. Pair it with a chic cover-up for easy transitions between poolside lounging and dancing. Sunglasses are a must for eye protection and style.

Essential Accessories: Don’t forget earplugs to protect your hearing during high-decibel performances. A fanny pack or clear waterproof phone/wallet holder will keep your valuables safe and dry. Bring a portable fan or hand fan for relief from the heat. If you have an electric cooler, it’s a game-changer since ice machines often break down.

Quick Fixes for Hunger: Air Fryer and Snacks

When hunger strikes and your room is just a sidestep away, an air fryer can be your best friend. Perfect for heating up hot pockets, burritos, or any quick snack, it’s an absolute lifesaver for those in between meal cravings!

Keeping some easy-to-cook items on hand ensures you won’t miss a beat of the festival action.

After-Hours Magic: The Air Museum Soirée

When the sun sets, the party continues at the Palm Springs Air Museum. This iconic after-hours venue features top artists against the backdrop of vintage airplanes and the stunning San Jacinto mountains. Pack a light jacket or shawl for the cooler desert night and wear comfortable shoes for dancing the night away.

Extras to Elevate Your Experience

A waterproof phone case is essential for capturing memories without water damage. A small, portable fan can be a lifesaver during the hottest parts of the day. Bring a beach towel or blanket for lounging by the pool. A fanny pack or small backpack is perfect for carrying essentials hands-free, letting you fully immerse yourself in the festival vibes.

Splash House is a celebration of music, community, and the vibrant spirit of Palm Springs. Packing these essentials ensures you’ll enjoy every moment, from the poolside beats to the after-hours magic.
