Iconic GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum Electronic supergroup Swedish House Mafia have released a remix of their latest single ‘Lioness‘ feat. Nikki & The Dove (Francis Mercier Remix) via Republic Records. Originally released in June, ‘Lioness’ had been highly requested by fans since the record’s live premiere in 2023. Mercier brings the Afro House vibe to the original track, making it a perfect song for the end of the summer.
Prior to ‘Lioness’, Swedish House Mafia’s single ‘Ray Of Solar‘ had been released in August. The angelic Dance-ready song continues Swedish House Mafia’s nearly 15-year-long journey of pushing boundaries and redefining Electronic music. As for Mercier, the Haiti-born DJ and producer continues to deliver music at an incredible pace in 2024. As a matter of fact, the ‘Lioness’ remix is already the 11th release of the year for the talented man.
This weekend, SHM will be performing their last show in Ibiza to conclude their historic, 6-week Ushuaïa Ibiza Residency. The band also recently announced they will be performing at Will Ferrell’s “Ultimate DJ House Party” at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL on October 26th for a concert in support of “Cancer For College.”
