The chances of witnessing something unique and memorable will surely be multiplied at Tomorrowland. The Belgian festival is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary. Amid all the unreal performances, amazing stages, and hundreds of thousands of ravers, one performance caught our eye. During the last track of his mainstage set, the Dutch legend Armin van Buuren was joined by no other than the lead singer and co-founder of Pendulum and Knife Party, Rob Swire. Together, the duo performed an electrifying version of their upcoming collaboration ‘Sound Of You’.
Both Swire and Van Buuren are certified legends. Certainly, two of the best to ever do it. Together, they’ve released hit songs across the majority of the dance music spectrum. Dubstep, drum and bass, trance, big room. You name it. These two have made a mark in the industry that no one can erase. Now, the two very different-sounding artists have come together for a unique release and a very special performance to promote it.
Rob Swire Joins Armin van Buuren To Perform A Special Version Of ‘Sound Of You’ At Tomorrowland
It was first revealed that Swire would join van Buuren to perform their new collaboration at Tomorrowland during an interview Armin held with DJ Mag at the festival. There, the Dutch DJ revealed who his mysterious guest was. Later that same night, after performing a proper AVB set, the English singer, producer, and songwriter joined the man dubbed “The King of Trance” on stage. What followed was one of the best singer-DJ performances we’ve had the chance to enjoy in the two decades Tomorrowland’s been going on.
