Paul van Dyk. The legend himself. For those visiting Ibiza this summer, among the uncountable amount of residencies the island offers, the German maestro is currently hosting one at the legendary Eden club in San Antonio, and it’s called SHINE Ibiza. Just one month into the season, the event series has already made a name for itself — and how wouldn’t it.
SHINE Ibiza has solidified its position as a premier electronic music event on the island. By curating a diverse lineup of both established and emerging DJs, the event has captivated audiences worldwide. The carefully crafted atmosphere, coupled with the stunning Ibiza backdrop, has made SHINE a must-attend for electronic music enthusiasts.
Some of the DJs on the SHINE lineup are — buckle up — Aly & Fila, Bryan Kearney, John O’Callaghan, Solarstone, Jordan Suckley, Shugz, John 00 Fleming, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Marc van Linden, Ciaran McCauley (both as himself and his Elï alter ego), Weekend Heroes, Paul Thomas, Sean & Dee, Fuenka, SISKIN, Talla 2XLC, and Chris Bekker. And the season will have not one, but two open-to-close sets by Paul van Dyk. For 25 years of VANDIT, van Dyk’s label, I see it as a worthy celebration.
‘Shine Together Now’
This record serves as the official anthem of this year’s SHINE Ibiza residency, and it is a track Paul crafted alongside Liverpool’s Amos & Riot and Northampton’s Matt Noland. ‘Shine Together Now‘ is euphoric, it’s trancy, clever, elegant, and uplifting, all at the same time. The track does a good job of making you fly, much like you’d expect from a Paul van Dyk release.
