deadmau5 India Set Cancelled Due To Prime Minister Visit

deadmau5’s India set is going to have to wait, at least a little bit longer. The much-anticipated deadmau5 show scheduled for July 12th at NESCO, Mumbai, has been canceled. Sunburn announced this unfortunate news, citing unavoidable circumstances beyond their control. Sunburn runs Asia’s largest music festival in December – Sunburn Festival.

The primary reason for the cancellation is because of the visit of the Honorable Prime Minister of India to Mumbai. Due to security protocols and directives issued by the relevant authorities, the planned venue at NESCO is no longer available for use. The event organizers had no alternative but to comply with these directives, leading to the event’s cancellation.

Sunburn has assured all ticket holders that they will receive a full refund for their purchases. The organization is also working closely with the artist management team to find a suitable window to bring deadmau5 back to India soon.
