Brush Fire Breaks Out At ODESZA’s Gorge Show

ODESZA was bringing the heat to The Gorge this past weekend. Both literally and figuratively. On Saturday, a small accidental brush fire was caused by their pyrotechnics being blown away by the wind to the wrong place, which led them to end their show early.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. This was their final show in their 3-run experience at The Gorge Amphitheater in Washington. It also marked their final show of The Last Goodbye tour, which has hit 54 shows at 48 venues across North America.

The fire was quickly extinguished and fans were asked to leave the venue. Prior to the show, the venue had issued a high-heat warning and stated the fire danger in the region was “very high.” The three-night show brought in more than 66,000 fans.

As a little piece of trivia, ODESZA were going to end their show, as per usual during the tour, with their track ‘The Last Goodbye’, which never played, since the incident happened during/after their hit ‘It’s Only’, which was planned a few songs ahead. So, that last goodbye never came at The Gorge.
