The Loop, an UK-based drug safety and harm reduction organisation, announced a new online safety training course on MDMA called “MDMA (Ecstasy) – A Deep Dive“. The goal is to support participants to better understand MDMA and how they can take a harm reduction approach to its use. In fact, the event will take place on 24th June from 18:00 to 21:30 BST, for a duration of three and a half hours.
This course is designed for anyone who works with, or in environments where, people take MDMA. This includes drugs services, universities, health services, local authorities, third sector, public health, police forces as well as the night time economy, including event management, nightlife venues and organisations operating in leisure spaces.
The course is above an ‘entry’ level course, as it explores MDMA in depth. It assumes participants have basic knowledge of MDMA. The course is interactive and trainers have front line understanding and experience in relation to drug use and harm reduction, drawing on professional training qualifications and many years of experience in delivery. Moreover, it’s informed by The Loop’s regular healthcare interventions, research and drug testing services, which identify current drug market trends and related issues.
Since its founding in 2012, The Loop has provided invaluable support and harm reduction advice on drugs across the country. The MDMA (Ecstasy) – A Deep Dive cours from The Loop is offered at £49. It’s also worth noting that the course comes at half price for those working in festivals and outdoor events. Check it out here.
