Google just announced their Pixel event two months earlier than usual, set to take place on August 13th at 10 am PST. The trailer spelled the date in Roman numerals, check it out below. Typically, the event takes place in October and we do not know why they chose to hold this annual event earlier. Rumors speculate it could be to precede Apple’s annual iPhone event in September. Maybe the reveal will boost holiday sales and the war between Apple and Android continue in stores, malls, and online another year. What’s more, the teaser showed the Roman numeral “nine” which means we should be getting updates on the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro. Setting the tone for their pre-announced phones, they head off any leaks attempting to spoil their surprise. Now, what else do we want to know more about? What about the successor to the Pixel Fold?
