Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF) has announced Martin Garrix as the headliner for its 2024 lineup, reinforcing its reputation as the pinnacle event of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). This announcement sets the stage for a night of electrifying performances at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Saturday, October 19th.
Known for hits like ‘Animals,’ ‘In the Name of Love,’ and ‘Scared to Be Lonely,’ Martin Garrix has become a global icon in the electronic music scene. This will be Garrix’s fifth time gracing the AMF stage. However, Garrix’s impact extends beyond the music scene. The Prinses Máxima Center, a pediatric oncology center in the Netherlands, recently named him as their ambassador. In this heartwarming video, he teaches young cancer patients how to DJ, and the smiles on their faces are priceless.
This year’s AMF is also noteworthy for the debut of Insomniac Europe. A new branch of Insomniac, Insomniac Europe aims to expand its reach across the continent. The Johan Cruijff ArenA will transform into the world’s largest nightclub for 40,000 fans, promising an unforgettable night. Martin Garrix is the first major announcement, with AMF revealing another legendary Dutch DJ and stellar lineup soon.
Tickets are rapidly selling out, with Loyal, Early, and Regular tickets already gone. Late phase tickets are available starting at €99 (around $107.36 USD, excluding service fees). This year, AMF offers nine different ticket types, including Early Access tickets for an exclusive pre-show set and Rave Pit tickets for an unparalleled view from behind the DJ booth.
