LIV Beach at Fontainebleau LV in Full Swing

In the developing North end of the Las Vegas Strip, lies Fontainebleau. A new resort and casino that EDM Tunes can now confirm is home to the nation’s premier clubs, LIV LV and LIV Beach.

LIV LV and LIV Beach, recently opened earlier this year. They have hit the ground running with a groundbreaking list of residents featuring Calvin Harris, Tiësto, John Summit, Metro Boomin’, Party Favor, James Kennedy, and Dom Dolla. This past weekend, we visited LIV Beach for Tiesto and John Summit. Quite the juxtaposition of acts, with Tiesto being an OG of the house music scene and John Summit starting to peak in his career.

John Summit just recently announced Comfort in Chaos, his new album to be released on Friday, July 12th. It will be his first, which is hard to believe. He played classics such as his own ‘Make You Feel’ and the West Coast favorite ‘All Night Dancing’ by Tiga, as well as some new heat from his upcoming album, which you will have to read about here when the time comes. However, we can say he did play ‘Go Back‘. Tiesto had played the classic house favorites such as ‘Clarity’ and much of his own music such as ‘BOOM’ to a more old-school crowd. It’s no surprise, the legend is still churning out hits this far into his career, such as his recent Mockingbird’ remake.

A Job Well Done

Of course, the music was in the middle. But surrounding the beautiful centerpiece stage is an intimate and high-end experience anyone can consider themselves blessed to enjoy. The amphitheater layout creates a balance of sound throughout the venue. With the Funktion 1s blasting, and confetti cannons covering the palm trees, there is no other day club in Vegas that can quite compare. The smaller space feels much larger than it is, with plenty of room to walk around with the design of the cabanas and flow. LIV Beach features private plunge pools, multiple VIP bungalows, and 2 levels of cabanas with a dance floor centered around the DJ. The venue holds approximately 2,000 people.

LIV Beach, while smaller than most of the other similar venues in Vegas at 35,000 square feet, goes above and beyond the competition. This venue knows what it is doing when hosting some of the world’s favorite DJs. This coming weekend Sidepeice, James Kennedy, and Wax Motif take the stage. Later in the month, you can look forward to Sam Feldt, Cloonee, Galantis, Green Velvet, Sommer Ray, and Malaa.

Be sure to visit Fontainebleau when visiting Las Vegas this summer. For a full schedule, visit the LIV Beach website.
