Electronic music pioneer Armin van Buuren is returning to Ushuaïa Ibiza‘s iconic outdoor stage to serve up five monumental musical journeys this summer. The GRAMMY-nominated artist will play every Sunday from 1st to 29th September, soundtracking a musical escape to another dimension, alongside a tasteful mix of friends, peers and fellow dance music legends.
By any measure, Armin van Buuren is a dance music icon. He is one of the most widely respected and influential figures in the global trance scene and someone who has been driving it forwards for more than two decades. His devotion to the art has ensured the genre has constantly evolved for millions of fans all over the world. The Dutchman has been the unstoppable force behind the influential Armada Music label, as well as the iconic ‘A State of Trance’ radio show, which attracts over 44 million monthly listeners from 80 countries who are all keen to hear him join the dots between the past, present and future of the genre.
This summer, the multi-award winning DJ and producer renews his legendary relationship with Ushuaïa Ibiza for five more superb shows that pair his electronic music mastery with the cutting edge production and unbeatable sound system of the unique open air club. Next to Armin’s own high-octane, emotionally charged and euphoric sounds will be plenty of top tier guests. They include, in alphabetical order, Avalan Rokston, which is the fusion of GRAMMY-nominated vocalist and producer Avalan with producer and songwriter Rokston whose bold and emotional sounds have taken the world by storm.
Then comes breakout UK sensation Ben Hemsley with his high energy house, Daniel O’Donnell, better known as D.O.D, who mixes up prog, bass, electro and future house into a signature sound that has seen him hit the UK charts, and Dutchman Fedde Le Grand who has long been synonymous with fresh house and prog grooves that are high in expressive synth-craft. Up-and-coming talent J.Ribbon will show his skills on Ushuaïa Ibiza’s towering main stage, along with LA-based house maverick Jaden Bojsen, and the deep progressive sounds of Laura van Dam. Add in the uptempo sounds of master producer Oliver Heldens, young French talent Rivo, dynamic rhythm and electrifying drop king Seth Hills, psychedelic Israeli trance DJ duo Vini Vici and big room and EDM duo W&W and you have another stunning month of Sundays.
