Just last weekend we were creating memories in the magical festival that was Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2024. We were lucky to experience some amazing sets all weekend. Including the always exhilarating R3HAB b2b Afrojack set. We got the honor to sit down with the multi-platinum Dutch/Moroccan Artist R3HAB and chat about his summer plans, newest single, and more.
Some of R3HAB’s accolades include the title of Spotify’s Most Discovered Artist and one of Spotify’s top 300 most
streamed artists. Moreover, his releases have been Gold– or Platinum-certified over 80 times. His work has collected over 10B streams to date, including over 1B in 2023 alone. In addition, in 2019 R3HAB’s ‘All Around The World‘ quickly became his biggest ever record already surpassing 600M streams on Spotify alone and achieving Gold
and Platinum status in multiple countries. It was followed by R3HAB’s stellar collaborations with the likes of Ava Max, Luis Fonsi, Sean Paul, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Lukas Graham, Icona Pop, (G)I-DLE, Laidback Luke, Tiësto and more.
R3HAB’s official remixes include Rihanna, Drake, Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris, Sia, Jason Derulo, Ed Sheeran, Tyga, Ellie Goulding, The Chainsmokers and P!nk to name a few. Finally, he is currently ranked #14 on prestigious DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs chart.
Thank you for taking some time to chat with us! You just came out from an epic b2b with long time collaborator Afrojack, how are we feeling?
“It was really nice, it’s always nice to play back in California. My first time here was in 2011 at Escape Halloween, so it always feels great to come back.”
You’ve been very busy releasing new music, just today, you had a major track come out, can you talk more about it?
“Yes, ‘Electricity’! I mean, Fast Boy, the brothers are extremely talented and they have amazing vocals. We felt like we worked great together. I met them in Thailand on a writing trip and the rest is history. I do want to write and produce more with them in the future because it really clicked.”
We can’t wait to hear ‘Electricity’ over and over again this festival season. What are your plans for this upcoming season?
“All over… I have shows in the US, Europe and Asia. It is really special to visit these places during the summer and I love playing during this time. I’m also working on my next single release in the next two months and I think it’s a really good one for the summer”

That’s exciting! We’re really looking forward on listening once it comes out. Speaking of new releases, who are some names you may or may not be working with the next few months?
“I haven’t planned too much because I’m focusing on writing at the moment. However, I am working with W&W since we have some b2bs planned out. I will continue with some b2bs with Afrojack so we will be working together a lot this season.”
You collaborate with so many talented and creative individuals. How do they inspire you in your writing and in your performances?
“I’ve always loved music since I was young, creating and listening. The love is still there, that’s what continues to inspire me as I work with so many different artists.”
That’s beautiful! Who are you most excited to work with in the near future?
“Oh I’m super excited to work with W&W for our b2b in France. You know when you’re playing a b2b you always want to do something special, and you’re kinda on edge because you have a deadline before the others come in, so that pressure gives you some extra focus.“
