Brace yourselves to a wicked weekend in Wonderland. Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2024 just announced set times and a brand new layout. The two-day festival will take over the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, California. The Insomniac event’s lineup is perhaps one of the most diverse and astonishing selection of EDM artists for a smaller festival from the company. Let us guide you through some changes to the map. We’re All Mad Here
The brand new map offers six magical stages. Five of the six stages will have their own takeovers from well known Insomniac sister brands. Basscon and Bassrush for Bass, Factory 93 for Techno, Lost in Dreams for Melodic, Insomniac Records and Night Trip for House, and Dreamstate for Trance. The Insomniac team promises a better and expanded layout with new stage designs, interactive art installations, photo ops, and more!
The afters will take place at the inside stage Sea of Wonders, which will run 2:15am-6am! Keep in mind that the afterparties have their separate ticket and you will only be able to attend if you already have a festival ticket from that day specifically. In addition, shuttles won’t accommodate you if you decide to rage until the early morning. You will not be able to leave the festival and re-enter for the afters. Afters admission stops at 3am so make sure you plan accordingly!
There are multiple parking options available. You have the chance to pick from different free lots with security and the option to purchase a premier pass to park closer to the venue in an exclusive lot. If driving is not your thing. There are multiple shuttle options from LA, OC, Riverside, and others. Rideshare will have its own drop off area as well. Metrolink is also an option.
So As Long As I Get Somewhere
Set times are finally out, and as per usual, people are freaking out about scheduling conflicts. However, We have to maintain realistic expectations for the weekend. Bigger newer layout involves slower transitions from stage to stage. Especially if your rave fam loves to fulfill their side quests, expect changing stages to take a decent amount of time.
This year’s lineup sets the precedent of major b2bs that are for sure nonskip. From Afrojack b2b R3HAB, to Eli Brown b2b Lilly Palmer. Tweedledee and Tweedledum have nothing on this duos. I strongly recommend to prioritize these sets as they’re unique opportunities to see your favorite. I will also recommend to check out the up and coming stars of the scene. Names like Oddmob, Omnom, Max Styler, and Creeds will truly take you to Wonderland.
Jump to the darker side with these Hard Techno acts, such as Sara Landry, Fatima Haji, Alignment, I Hate Models, and 999999999. But if you want something a bit lighter, enjoy Biscits, Alesso, The Chainsmokers, or Black V Neck.
Conclusion
The festival runs ten hours each day plus four hours of afterparties. Make sure you’re hydrated and well fed. Make sure you visit the Harm Reduction Tent from End-Overdose, which is available in all if not most Insomniac festivals. Lastly, explore! Beyond Wonderland is a whole production. It is definitely one of the most thematic raves in the US. All in all, this edition will definitely set the tone for Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge and the newest version in Chicago.
