Arc Music Festival‘s marketing team always gives it to us extremely well. A slow-burning hype usually turns into massive reveals each year. It seems that this year the festival grounds will increase in size and provide the Expansions Stage its well-deserved space. We may or may have not had requested this before. This stage fuses nature and technology in its production, as it turns the dirt into a harmonious dancefloor with fans of the genre. The Auris Presents production has hosted world known artists, including Boys Noize, Anna, Richie Hawtin, Fisher b2b Loco Dice b2b Nic Fanciulli, Deborah De Luca, Black Coffee, and Honey Dijon. The streets of Chicago will feel the energy of Arc this Labor Day Weekend from August 30th to September 1st.
This Chicago’s iconic House and Techno Festival is going into its fourth edition with a favorable record. Last year alone, Arc lit up the Chicago Skyline with its selection of refined artists from many ranges of the underground. The city of origin for House deserved a Festival such as Arc that honors the originators of the genre and its influence in modern EDM. The lineup is a blend of incredible Chicago and Detroit legends, as well as world-class heavyweights from different nations.
As other festivals continue to release lineups, Arc keeps its secrets very well hidden, but alludes to major changes and improvements. For example, the smallest stage at Arc had been an art car in the last couple years. As the festival released the set times in June of last year, people still expected a smaller art car. However, come the week before the festival, Arc announces the reveal of a brand new stage. Area 909 was the shining star of the whole weekend. The new design represented the intertwining of Chicago and Detroit through music. Moreover, it pays respect to the TR-909 drum machine. The stage hosted some of Midwest’s best. International stars rocked Area 909 equally, such as Tinlicker, Nina Kraviz, Sara Landry, Dax J, and more.
We can’t forget that Arc owns a mainstage worthy of an Eric Prydz HOLO Show, and America’s only full weekend Elrow Stage takeover. This has become one of EDM Tunes favorites festivals in the past couple years. A post-pandemic festival that earns all its flowers consistently. All in all, we are super hyped to spend Labor Day weekend in Chicago once again. Find us enjoying the Windy City with favorable weather and delicious vibes… oh, and afters after the afters, always.
