With just about three weeks until Rotterdam’s inaugural A State of Trance festival, Armin van Buuren has shared all details of the daytime programme, completing the full weekend itinerary. Van Buuren did so in spectacular fashion, performing live from a tram driving through Rotterdam’s city centre. The world-renowned DJ was joined by long-time A State of Trance collaborator Ferry Corsten as well as Maddix and Ruben de Ronde to name a few. Most notably, Armin van Buuren was joined on stage by Joris Voorn, the two iconic DJs performed back to back for 30 minutes.
The A State of Trance daytime programme will be hosted on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 February at the official A State of Trance Hotel in Rotterdam’s bustling Kop van Zuid district. The addition of a daytime programme marks a first in A State of Trance history and an exciting extension for fans. The programme has four themes; mindfulness, talent, art and knowledge, each of which tied into the music industry in their own unique way.
During the A State of Trance day programme, Armin van Buuren, industry insiders, and fellow DJs will provide a behind-the-scenes look and extensively discuss the four themes. Additionally, the day program at the A State of Trance Hotel will feature photo exhibitions, yoga sessions, and pre-parties. Van Buuren himself will contribute to the mindfulness segment of the program. Recently, he highlighted this theme on his new album Breathe In, where he allowed the positive developments in his personal mental well-being to shine.
