Brooklyn is about to be graced with a vibrant evening of dance and music as HE.SHE.THEY. hosts a day-to-night party at The Roof and The Room at Superior Ingredients, hosted by Gray Area. On Saturday, February 17, the city will celebrate the very essence of diversity, and inclusivity. An ethos that binds genders and identities in an unbreakable bond of unity. The lineup is extremely juicy this time around, as EDMTunes’ very own Jaesyun will make his He. She. They debut.
Ethos
With a presence in over a dozen countries, HE.SHE.THEY. events are a beacon for radical self-expression. From their residency at Ibiza’s Amnesia to their immersive parties at Brooklyn Mirage and Fabric London, their influence is unmistakably global and profound.
They meticulously curate lineups that echo the true diversity of the dancefloor, showcasing talents like UNIIQU3, Honey Dijon, Peaches, SYREETA, and Miss Kitten. Their expansive record label embraces a spectrum of artists, featuring notable releases by Baby Weight, Sister Bliss, Nikki Nair, Chloè Robinson, Catz ‘N’ Dogz, Mz Worthy, and Anja Schneider. Central to their ethos, HE.SHE.THEY cultivates spaces that foster fearless and authentic expression.
In Electronic music, there’s a prevailing sentiment that we collaboratively forge spaces where all can feel safe, acknowledged, and valued. However, when the lion’s share of influential decision-makers and performers fails to mirror this eclectic community, the vision of a genuinely inclusive environment becomes elusive. Recognizing this gap, Sophia Kearney and Steven Braines, the visionaries behind the record label, fashion brand, and events powerhouse, HE.SHE.THEY, embarked on a mission to realign dance music with its foundational principles.
Superior Ingredients
The Roof and The Room at Superior Ingredients stand as twin emblems of Brooklyn’s refined taste. It offers experiences unlike any other. Nestled in the borough’s pulsating heart, The Roof boasts a retractable climate-controlled glass roof. It invites attendees to a seamless blend of indoor comfort and the allure of the open sky. As dusk settles, it unveils breathtaking sunset views of the Manhattan skyline, creating a backdrop for unforgettable nights. On the other hand, The Room echoes avant-garde charm, brought to life by state-of-the-art acoustics and mesmerizing light shows. The true magic lies in their combined ambiance—where every beat, drop, and melody deeply resonates, promising both an immersive escape and a celebration of the moment.
Embrace the spirit of HE.SHE.THEY.! Celebrate diversity, dance under the stars, and be part of a night that promises memories that will last a lifetime.
