Awakenings just announced the launch of a new festival: Awakenings Upclose. As a matter of fact, the brand embarks on an exciting journey to create a unique concept that will begin this spring.
Scheduled for May 18 & 19, 2024, this distinctive event vows to deliver an intimate encounter that transcends the usual rhythmic beats, placing a strong emphasis on fostering a close-knit connection between the dance floor and the performing artists. Awakenings Upclose marks a return festival’s roots, as it will take place at Houtrak (Spaarnwoude-park) in the Netherlands. Prepare for a fusion of Techno powerhouses experimenting with diverse sounds, underground favorites, 16 cutting-edge b2b performances, and the introduction of over 25 up-and-comers.
Some of the marquee names on the lineup include Colin Benders x Speedy J, ROD x Stranger, Gigi FM x Kanding Ray, Perc x Wallis (live) and Amoral x Beste Hira, Joris Voorn, Nina Kraviz, 999999999, Rebekah, AnD, I Hate Models and Azyr. Moreover, at least 25 artists will play Awakenings for the first time such as Marlon Hoffstadt, Funk Assault, Polar Inertia (live), Azyr and Marie Montexier to name a few.
