After a successful release and tour, the Metal and Bass producer Sullivan King presents Overthrown, the official remixes edition of the Thrones Of Blood album. This features Blanke, Kompany, Jessica Audiffred, Chime, and more. It’s available now via Monstercat.
Since launching his project in 2014, Sullivan King has become one of the most notorious superstars across Heavy Metal and Bass music, in addition to being a Monstercat fan-favorite. His album Thrones Of Blood, which was unveiled this past March, has accumulated over 40 million streams to date. Now, King is bridging both worlds even closer with the release of his captivating remix album, Overthrown (The Thrones of Blood Remix Album).
Touching down via Monstercat Uncaged, on Friday, December 1st, this powerhouse album encompasses remixes from Kompany, Blanke, Jessica Audiffred, Bossfight, SIPPY, GHENGAR, Chime, LAYZ, Vastive, Benda, LOUIEJAYXX, and SampliFire. It is a dynamic melting pot of genres and unique production styles, representing the likes of Dubstep, Riddim, Color Bass, Heavy Metal, and Rock, to name a few.
“I am insanely stoked to present ‘Overthrown (The Thrones of Blood Remix Album)’. It is truly an honor to have such incredible artists revisit these tracks, cannot wait for you all to hear them!”
-Sullivan King
Centered around cataclysmic sequences of Riddim and Rock, a staple song of the album is Blanke’s remix of ‘Someone Else‘. With this original Sullivan King hit leaning towards the melodic side, Blanke tips the scales into electrifying Dubstep and a shocking closing half of the track that boasts a driving Techno bassline.
Among the standouts is Bass legend Kompany’s flip of King and Kai Wachi’s anthem ‘Riot‘. Using King’s vocal screams to build a wave of energy, that wave comes crashing down when Kompany assaults listeners with a barrage of Riddim chops and robotic Dubstep on the drop.

Just as spellbinding is GHENGAR’s remix of King and Excision’s ‘Fall Apart‘. GHENGAR takes the already emphatic festival banger to another level by weaving in elements of Hardstyle and progressions of Bass that will sync perfectly with a chaotic display of lasers. This is on par with the rest of the remix album — which has received massive festival support —: present in a number of performances from this year’s Lost Lands.
There are also mosh-pit-primed tunes forged by a selection of the top female artists in today’s Electronic music circuit. Jessica Audiffred reinvents King and Ray Volpe’s ‘The Dead March‘, fusing intense lyrics, drum solos, and invigorating electric guitar notes with a brain-scrambling drop. Meanwhile, SIPPY transforms ‘Watch The Crown Fall‘ into a psychedelic, raging adventure and LAYZ puts her signature twist on ‘Fall Apart‘, opening the gates of Hell with skull-crushing bass.
The prophetic remix album of Overthrown (The Thrones of Blood Remix Album) not only unites a variety of artists across Bass music but marks the next chapter of King’s journey as well. With upcoming performances at Apocalypse: Zombieland, Ember Shores, Lights All Night, Red Rocks, and more, get ready to hear this riveting project in full force as King continues to bring the roof down on his audience.
