For both Grammy winners, ’42’ combines the DJ’s talents in creating energetic rhythms with the singer’s upbeat vocals that made her a household name for the past half-decade. The track has Synth-Pop rhythms that can take the listeners on a journey to a blissful environment. Afterwards, the track built up to an up-tempo sound that placed the track as a low-key, chill track that is perfect to dance to in any setting. ’42’ Marks Another Achievement In The Careers Of Diplo And Maren Morris
For Diplo, the release of ’42’ comes after the three-time Grammy Award-winning artist released three house jams, ‘Diamond Therapy’, ‘Favela Joint’, and ‘Stay High’, all via his own successful label Higher Theory. Also this year, he released his second Country album, Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2—Swamp Savant, which featured collaborations with numerous Country music stars.
As for Maren Morris, she recently released a two-track EP, The Bridge, featuring ‘The Tree‘, which she recently performed alongside Mickey Guyton and Brittney Spencer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and ‘Get the Hell Out of Here‘. Furthermore, Morris received the Changemaker Award at Variety’s 7th annual Hitmakers celebration for her work as a songwriter and an advocate for change in the music world.
