The Serendipitous Encounter
The story behind this explosive collaboration is as intriguing as the music itself. Picture this: Fall of 2022, SOUTHSIDE DIDDY took a Lyft with a mysterious driver. This driver turned out to be none other than HAWD HITTA. A chance encounter sparked a musical connection, leading to a collaboration that was long overdue. Fast forward to that fateful Spring day in April. A day when MARKUS BRAUN, armed with an older instrumental, joined the duo. Moreover, it was from this beat that they created the hit we’re vibing to today. It’s a tale of destiny, passion, and the unspoken language of music.
Club Level Records’ Rising Star
This release marks the eighth triumph for Club Level Records, founded by Austin Diduch, co-founder BRAUN himself, and quality control maestro Ian Edson. As we look ahead to 2024, brace yourselves for MARKUS BRAUN’s EP, a blend of club and underground appeal. Further, SOUTHSIDE DIDDY gears up for a monumental 2024, gracing mainstages with his signature vocals, while HAWD HITTA continues to tour, expanding the label’s reach globally. The excitement doesn’t end here – catch MARKUS BRAUN on his Spring 2024 tour, a testament to Club Level Records’ ascent in the LA music scene.
Firstly, when asked about MARKUS BRAUN had the following to say: “I sat on this project for months, always waiting for the perfect vocalist to go on it. When HAWD HITTA invited me into the studio, I walked into SOUTHSIDE spitting a verse on another tune and knew immediately that I needed to get him on the track. Reworking the tune to get the energy right, it all came together so naturally.“
Furthermore, he continues:
“It was such a beautiful experience watching artists from different genre backgrounds come together to make a track that allowed a spotlight on each of their styles to shine in the mix. I’m looking forward to 2024, with the release of this tune and a 3 song EP that will waterfall release into the new year. That, alongside some show dates in different cities across the states and the growth HAWD HITTA and I are seeing with Club Level records, 2024 is gonna be a big year”.
Secondly, SOUTHSIDE DIDDY adds:
“I think what makes this song so special is that we’re experiencing what music is today in its purest form… kids now don’t just listen to one style of music, & the perspective of one’s understanding of music is derived from a lot of different sounds. ‘Coming in hot’ is the perfect blend of what’s to come , & a sneak peak to the future of music. Rap Edm might on day be a genre of its own one day.”
Thirdly, Hawd Hitta had the following to say:
This track would not have been possible without God aligning the stars, and a big shout-out goes to MARKUS BRAUN and Southside Diddy for working so well together to believe in the vision of this track. They worked over the summer to make sure it came out the way it did. It’s been amazing to work with MARKUS BRAUN and the wizard Ian Edson on Club Level Records but also a big shoutout goes to our media guy in Shane Jacobs.
Lastly, MARKUS BRAUN, SOUTHSIDE DIDDY & HAWD HITTA’s ‘Coming In Hot’ is out now on Club Level Records. In conclusion, it can be streamed below, enjoy!

Growing up in Chicago, MARKUS BRAUN always had a passion for EDM. Pulling inspiration from the Dons of Tech House, Markus’ unique sound as a House DJ and producer has pushed the boundaries of where the genre can go.
At college, while studying engineering, Markus began to pursue his interest in music production and DJing. Seeing his favorite artists perform at iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheater, and Fox Theater, sparked a desire to pursue a career in music. As he experimented with different sounds and styles, Markus developed a deep understanding and passion for electronic music. This is a passion that would later define his style as an artist.
In 2020, Markus moved to LA to pursue his career as a DJ. He’s played at multiple clubs throughout the city and has a loyal following of fans who are drawn to his energetic performances. His explosion in the underground scene has allowed him direct support for the likes of Chr0meb0dies, Mike Taylor, Boyz Noize, and more. As 2024 unfolds, fans are eagerly anticipating the Jan. release of The 4AM EP. This is a project that encapsulates Markus’ signature sounds. Markus is set to weave his musical magic across the Americas this spring. I say this as he continues to redefine the boundaries of House music. In the process infusing each venue with his passion and energy. He aims to prove that his music is not just heard, it’s experienced.
About SOUTHSIDE DIDDY:
Kyle Caines, otherwise known as SOUTHSIDE DIDDY, is a soulful melodic artist originally born in St.Thomas, USVI. South’s family moved around the US for a short time before finally settling in Atlanta, GA. Growing up on the southside of Atlanta is where SOUTHSIDE DIDDY’s love for music grew. Going from listening to Reggae, Dancehall and R&B to the heavy bass of southern Trap, Melodic Rap & New York’s style Hip-Hop motivated the young Southside to want to be a part of what he enjoyed listening to.
Throughout high school, SOUTHSIDE DIDDY started taking chorus & band seriously. It was at this time that he developed a deeper love for melodic sounds and hearing instruments in harmony.
