Amsterdam Music Festival is prepping for its 11th edition. They have partnered with PixMob. In a dance music industry first, AMF and PixMob will light up Johan Cruijff ArenA like never before. They will transform the audience into a digital display and open up a huge spectrum of creative possibilities. AMF and PixMob have appointed internationally acclaimed creative director Timor Steffens as the show director. Steffens is known for his work with Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Chris Brown.
PixMob’s technology has been used by a broad variety of entertainment industry elite. In sports they have worked with the NFL on the Super Bowl. They also work with international pop stars such as The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, and most notably Coldplay for their recent Music of the Spheres World Tour. If you haven’t seen some of these videos, you have to, they are spectacular.
With the use of PixMob’s wireless wristbands, combined with AMF and Steffen’s creative expertise, the tens of thousands of people in the audience will serve as the stars of the show. In becoming an integral part of the show experience, fans will inevitably feel ever more connected to the music and the people around them, creating a strong sense of community. Co-founder and CEO of ALDA, Allan Hardenberg had this to say
“We’re beyond excited to see that sea of lights light up the arena. We feel like we might be at the forefront of a redefining moment in the festival scene“
Tickets are still available for this year’s AMF. From a personal experience, I went last year and had an amazing time. I can’t imagine how much better it is going to be with PixMob. I am beyond excited. There is no better way to cap off Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE).
