Space 92 burst onto the techno scene with a compelling style in 2020, leaving a lasting impact. The artist’s music is characterized by smooth melodies, distorted percussion, and hints of acid. In just over three years, this artist has achieved the impressive feat of securing seven number-one spots on the Beatport charts.
Simultaneously, Space 92 has solidified his position as a thrilling emerging force in live performances. Their recent collaboration with POPOF on a Live/Hybrid set, titled ‘Popof x Space 92 Present: Turbulences,’ has drawn significant attention. This joint endeavor made its striking debut at Ultra Music Festival Tokyo, garnering admiration from the audience. Such was the impact that they received subsequent invitations to headline prominent shows at Ultra Seoul, Bali, and Miami.
‘Time’ took shape gradually, evolving over several months amidst the artist’s demanding touring schedule. “I was constantly on tour while making ‘Time’; so, I’d work on it fora while, leave it and then come back and my mood or inspiration would have changed. ‘Time’ carries its name so well, because it literally encompasses a chunk of my life and brings back so many memories.”
