Today, Odd Mob and OMNOM release another smashing hit together titled ‘Losing Control’. We see its release on John Summit’s label, Experts Only. It sure is, because this track is a bonafide fresh banger. The anticipation of this release now has great relief as these two artists continue to stake their claim in the EDM scene. Fans last heard this at EDC Las Vegas earlier this year and since then, the need for ID release began.
The track begins with an eerie blend of vocals, melody, and stuttering synths. Its deep basslines introduce themselves and progress to bigger proportions. Once the beat drops, all control is lost. Bodies shiver and sway as the bass crowds your ears. Sirens resonate out of range only to be met with a feedback loop back into the bassline. Harry Hope, aka Odd Mob, hails from Brisbane Australia. He developed a flair for unique sounds and this track showcases that. He diversifies his sound across genres for an unconventional yet gratifying identity. Meticulously honing his craft for years, he is solidifying his status of EDM’s future. He’s hot off the DoLab Coachella stage, with support from industry heavyweights like Diplo, DJ Snake, Jauz, Oliver Heldens, Don Diablo, Tommy Trash, and more.
Omar Gharbi, aka OMNOM, is based in Los Angeles. He’s been the trailblazer for house music with his “whirlpool of weird” sound. Peculiar vocals over infectious basslines are his forte. So, it is no wonder the two paired up again. Gharbi garners supposed from stalwarts of the house scene like Walker & Royce, FISHER, Kyle Watson, Claude Vonstroke, and many more. He has appeared on labels like Dirtybird, Confession, Insomniac, and Box of Cats.
