All good things come to an end. Today Madeon announced the last show of his signature blend of pop and dance, aka Good Faith. Fans were anticipating the end would be the Red Rocks show Hugo will put up in October, but if you can’t catch that you have one last chance in LA. We will bid Madeon’s legendary production adieu at the Shrine auditorium in Los Angeles on November 17th.
Madeon’s sophomore album Good Faith comprised of ten tracks has a perfect mix of gospel, synth-pop, and funk with his voice. The emotional album released in 2019 focuses on themes around self-discovery, fear, and parental love. Through the last few years, we have seen Madeon transform into a confident performer. He started Good Faith Forever shows back in March of 2022. The shows so far have been top-notch, not just because of the production but also due to Madeon’s performance. There is singing, dancing and Hugo playing his instruments. The live concept really encapsulates Madeon as a great performer and blows us off our feet.
Gonna Be Good
Madeon has continued to push the boundaries of electronic music since his arrival. As he graced the world with the Good Faith Forever for the first time ever, he played ‘Gonna Be Good’. The ID was a fan favourite from that day on. It only took him 15 months to release it. The release follows ‘Love You Back‘ which was his first release on the independent label Mom+Pop Music since signing. The track ‘Gonna Be Good’ mesmerizes fans with its uplifting melody, pop elements and air synths. The music video features Madeon, who utilizes elements of nature and pairs with the visuals from his Good Faith live show. His silhouette walks up the mountain signifying bigger and better things he will be conquering in his life.
