This past weekend A Records label boss Jessica Audiffred put on a high octane performance at the Brooklyn Mirage. Hailing from Mexico City, Jessica has become a prominent figure in the bass scene after bursting in the U.S. electronic market over the past years. Her electrifying stage presence has taken over festival stages at Lost Lands, Tomorrowland, Beyond Wonderland, EDC, Forbidden Kingdom, Moonrise, just to name a few. She has also been on tour with other dubstep staples such as Excision, Riot Ten, DIESEL, selling out arenas and other iconic venues across North America. Her haymaker bangers and relentless bass have sparked frenetic energy in her fans, not to mention all the blazing mosh pits that she has incited at her shows.
As Jessica took the stage for a special sunrise set at the Mirage sanctuary, it was clear that from the first track that she was not here to play it safe. She had a tasteful curation of dubstep, selecting tracks that are as brutal as they are beautiful. The basslines were hitting like a freight train as the packed venue was sent into a flurry of headbangs and fist bumps. The sound was especially bumping in the venue on this day as the wobbles and growls resonated from the speakers, inciting a wild energy amongst those in attendance. Standout tracks such as ‘Never Be The Same‘ and and Mega collab ‘Rise‘ with Excision went especially hard. On top of the seamless transitions between the haymakers and moments of calm with beautiful vocals, Jessica’s riveting crowd presence was especially apparent. Her colorful hair and energetic charisma stood out center stage as she commanded the crowds with her beats and infectious energy. Her recent collaboration with DIESEL ‘NO FEAR‘ perfectly exudes her approach towards her bold take towards her music and performances. Jessica also had a set of new visuals that were colorful and a sight to view on the ultrawide LED screens of the Brooklyn Mirage.
Jessica is currently on her Mad House World Tour with notable festival stops at Lost Lands, Tomorrowland Brazil, and Apocalypse Festival. She will also be making stops at Mission Ballroom in Denver, Vanguard in Orlando, and The Midway in San Francisco to a name a few.
