The pair of dance music veterans release the sophomore single from their new project on the Dreamstate imprint. Orjan Nilsen and Mark Sixma have once again joined forces at Dreamstate Records to present the next installment of their newly established nilsix venture. Their upcoming track, ‘The Void,’ follows suit after their initial release. It brings a captivating and shadowy trance anthem to kick off festivities in the festival circuit.
Orjan Nilsen talks about the process behind the track saying:
“We started working on ‘The Void’ in Mark’s parents’ house, because Mark’s studio wasn’t ready yet and his dad has a great studio setup at home. After ‘Anhedonia,’ we wanted to make something a bit darker that would work wonders on festivals and that’s how ‘The Void’ was born.”
The collaboration project nilsix showcases the combined production skills of two individuals who have already earned significant respect through their extensive individual careers. Orjan Nilsen, often referred to as the ‘Norwegian Trance Viking,’ is nearing two decades of involvement in the trance genre.
Equally accomplished, Mark Sixma also possesses an impressive collection of musical works that span from adrenaline-pumping trance tracks to enduring hits for mainstage performances. This includes collaborations with artists like W&W, KSHMR, and Armin van Buuren, among others.
