A couple of weeks ago, DJ Snake partnered up with McDonald’s to launch his own meal from the popular fast-food chain. In fact, he became the first-ever European artist to have his own McDonalds’s meal, another accomplishment to add to the long list of the French producer. This coincided with the launch of an exclusive collection from his Pardon My French apparel brand – 24 items including t-shirts, sweatpants, shorts, and hoodies – which developed a line of products incorporating the company’s infamous logo.
However, those two feats are not the most unique part of this story. DJ Snake actually threw down a one-of-a-kind rave in a fortunate McDonald’s on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris. As you can see in the video below, the ambiance was amazing, especially since the restaurant’s employees could not resist the temptation to dance while working in the background.
Truly amazing stuff. Tables were cleared to make room for an improvised dancefloor and cash registers were replaced with the DJ’s turntables. The Frenchman really appreciated the experience, as it was a full-circle moment for him:
“I spent my childhood birthdays at McDonald’s. They’re great memories for me with my family and friends. And now it’s a landmark when I’m on tour all over the world, at the end of our shows we often stop at McDonald’s.”
It’s not every day that you can catch a world-famous DJ in this kind of environment. As a matter of fact, DJ Snake is currently on his summer tour, as he appears at some of the world’s biggest events. You can check out his full schedule on his official website.
