Electric Zoo has announced their 2023 theme—”Electric Zoo: Hyperspace”—and lineup.
Electric Zoo is an EDM festival held annually over Labor Day Weekend in Randall’s Island Park in New York City. The festival was founded in 2009 by Made Event and has since grown to become one of the largest electronic music festivals in the world. It features a wide range of electronic music artists, from house and techno to dubstep and drum and bass. In recent years, Electric Zoo has also featured a number of live performances from electronic music acts. Past performers have included Skrillex, deadmau5, Carl Cox and Diplo.
This year, Electric Zoo will return with world debut sets, a mini-fest-within-the-fest and sunset performances starring top artists with New York City’s iconic skyline as the backdrop.
The Electric Zoo: Hyperspace motif is inspired by the stars with a nod to futurism, featuring themed installations and mesmerizing soundscapes.
Along with hypnotic art installations, Electric Zoo will feature a number of exciting musical debuts and specialty shows:
- Globally-renowned DJs Fisher and Chris Lake‘s festival debut of their Under Construction brand, alongside a lineup of their favorite hand-picked acts
- World premiere of Everything Always, a new concept by John Summit and Dom Dolla
- EZoo’s inaugural LGBTQ+ stage: Dreamland, presented by event producer, promoter and one of Out100’s Most Influential LGBTQ People of the Year in 2018, Jake Resnicow
- MegaMirage, an all-new immersive stage in an expanded area of the festival site
- Liquid Stranger Presents: Wakaan Takeover will bring together a visionary curation of artists at the forefront of bass music
- A solo sunset performance by Kaskade and the New York debut of Kx5, the Kaskade and deadmau5 collab
- Three GRiZ sets before his upcoming hiatus—a golden sunset hour set, solo performance and b2b with Zeds Dead
- Cityfox and Gray Area will team up to present MegaFox, a festival within a festival
